Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Party
As the majority of 2020 events will be postponed until a time it is safe to meet together in large groups again, the art of entertaining will have to continue in a new form. We aim to bring you a series of events, providing creative themes and easy DIY ideas to inspire celebrations and entertaining at home.
To kick it off- in lieu of attending the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park this year - we are starting our series with an afternoon of picnicking and champagne with friends at home!
IDEAS:
-Do some research ahead of time. For the same price as a regular bottle of Veuve Clicquot, many shops offer the bottles accompanied with the orange ice jackets, and “Arrow Collection” cases that can be used as decor. The Arrow Collection is a champagne bottle in a tin box, pointing the distance from every place to the Maison Veuve Clicquot in Reims. They have 29 destinations to select from, which retrace some of the original commercial voyages of shipping wines around the world.
-Create a champagne bar with orange, peach and pineapple juice as well as some fresh fruit garnishes.
-Wrap sandwiches in deli paper and cooking twine, and display them in empty champagne boxes. Sandwiches pictured below: Smoked salmon with dill cream cheese and cucumber; BLT with thick smoked bacon and watercress; chicken salad with tomato slices and alfalfa sprouts.
-Make a colorful summer themed fruit display with seasonal fruits such as watermelon, cantaloupe, kiwis, melon, honeydew, apricots, etc. Pair them with mint pesto, mozzarella, feta and prosciutto for a refreshing and colorful display. Click HERE for full details on this charcuterie spread.
